Marcin Bak moved to the top of the King of Europe standings with a controlled victory at Slovakia Ring, the second of his young career and another indication that 2026 may be the year the Polish driver announces himself at the very highest level.

Bak's BMW E92 M3 was perfectly calibrated for the Slovakia Ring's flowing layout, and the 27-year-old used every advantage to demolish a field that included several established Drift Masters-level competitors.

Łukasz Pytka sits just 12 points behind in second — another Polish driver who has impressed enormously this season. The two compatriots are on track for a dramatic second-half title fight that will only strengthen the case for Polish representation in Drift Masters.

"Slovakia Ring suits the car," said Bak after his victory. "But I know Łukasz will be even stronger at Poznań in his home country. We need to be perfect there."

The King of Europe is increasingly serving as a proving ground for the next generation of Drift Masters stars. Watch this space.
